To whom it may concern or our dear customers,

A year ago we announced in our last newsletter that we will start to have beer parties at our barbeque place with free beer. For this occasion we even bought equipment for draft beer. If somebody asked me I must say that it was huge success. Therefore we have decided to continue with these events and also make it to a returning tradition in our marina each summer. For this summer we have set up 3 dates.  It will be the 23. of june, the 21. of july and the 11. of august, starting at 6 p.m. By one of the occasion it will be possible to have wild boar. We are looking forward to see as many of you.

We finally got a permission to deepening inside the marina. This permit allows us over a period of 5 years to take away 1.500 m³ each year. This year we will start to dig up between the D- and C-pontoon.

On our playground we still are renewing and changing. I think that we finally will be finished next year if my 4 year old daughter don´t get new ideas. She has very high standards and sometimes she is even right!!!

As many of you know then we have had this returning problem with seagulls every year in the early spring and at the end of the autumm. To solve this irritating problem we have bought nearly the same equipment they use in the airports with some changes. Some other marinas have had different success, but we will still give it a try. In another year we will know if it has been preventive.

This year it will be possible to use internet the so called WLAN on board every boat as in many other marinas. This means that you all can stay much longer in Augustenborg and get all the stress onboard your boat!!!!! The price for providing this service will be a minor charge.

One more thing. We have renewed our gate at the entrance to the marina. The gate will be closed at night during the winter. An access code will be provided.

From this year it is also not allowed any more to smoke in our storage halls. Two of our employees, where not ready to fulfill this and therefore they resigned, which we of  course regret. Safety is very important especially with so much value stored inside.
